Changing Image

So now I’m trying to create something like a Course Presentation that has multiple images on one slide that replace one another.  The images should transform from one image to another according to a timespan that is related to an audio file.  I found the Agamotto (Image Blender) content type, and that looks good, but as far as I can tell it requires interaction from the user to change the images.  Is there anything already available that can change the image based on a time span rather than user interaction? Or is this a content type that I would need to develop?

Currently this is not possible but this is a very neat idea.
