What does the "Assistive Technologies label" do specifically? Is it used to describe the activity as a whole or something else?

I just noticed the Show/Hide label for AT in the Metadata for Dialog Cards (see attached screenshot). I was wondering what it is used for and how it supports users of assistive technologies. Thanks!
