I assume you are using Moodle. If so Moodle handles the scoring and passing percentage of H5P contents. It's up to you on how you want Moodle to score it. Please note though that Moodle handles the score by giving the content the maximum score and deducting every mistake. An example of this is that if you have a content with 10 points but set up Moodle with a maximum score of 5. If the user/student makes 5 mistakes Moodle will show a score of 0/5.
So the best course of action would always be the Maximum score set in Moodle is the same as the number of items/questions in the H5P content.
