Embed video for Interactive Video from Wistia

As a user, I would like to be able to insert embed code from Wistia as the source of my interactive video. In that way I can maintain analytics on the video but use it interactively. Wistia has an open API which might assist in the integration.

Supporter votes Members of the Supporter Network can vote for feature requests. When the supporter network has generated sufficient funding for the top voted feature request it will normally be implemented and released. More about the H5P Supporter Network

I second this request!

Any progress would be great, as I'm seeing a lot of traction due to their robust analytics and pricing model per asset.

Embedding a video from Wistia will not process.

Hi,

Thanks a lot for contributing your ideas on how to make H5P better! We’re now working on something called the H5P supporter program allowing the H5P community to vote for and fund the top voted H5P features. Also there are developers in the community who every now and then works on a feature they find interesting or useful.

As I have mentioned here the way Youtube handles the videos makes it easier to use them in H5P acitivities. But it is also possible to use videos hosted elsewhere. All you need to do is get the source URL, usually it ends with mp4 or webm. Although EM pointed out that you "lose the analytics I get from Wistia if I pull the mp4".
