uploading images to course presentation

Hi all,
I'm new to H5p and wanted to start tinkering with a course presentation. Whenever I attempt to upload an image, my browser (internet explorer 11) prompts me to open or save a JSON file. I've never come across this before and I don't know what I'm supposed to do here.
As I said, I'm a complete novice. Any help would be appreciated.

Which system are you on?
Hi Fred,
You are definatly not supposed to be getting a json file back. So it sounds like a bug.
Are you using Course Presentation on h5p.org, or do you have a Drupal/Moodle/WordPress installation?

Hi Tom,
My moodle website isn't linked tot e H5P library yet, so I'm using the course presentation designer on the H5p.org website, with the intention of then either embedding it or uploading it to my moodle site afterwards.
Thanks,
Fred

images not uploading
I cant seem to upload images onto any of the slides or course presentation resource. I have uped the max upload and whatnot in php.ini restarted my apache but the image upload page just takes ages and never uploads the image regardless of its site.
Server wise, i have enough space on the server for it not to be refusing to upload images
