Randomize Draggables in Drag and Drop
Submitted by tsamacc on Mon, 01/14/2019 - 03:00
Forums:
Draggable items come up in the same sequence when the page is reloaded or upon retry. Is it possible to add a feature to make the draggable items appear in random order each time the activity is loaded?
Summary:
Random draggables in drag and drop

Hi tsamacc,
Thanks a lot for contributing your ideas on how to make H5P better! We’re now working on something called the H5P supporter program allowing the H5P community to vote for and fund the top voted H5P features. Also there are developers in the community who every now and then works on a feature they find interesting or useful.

Hi tsamacc
My answer to your request is the same I gave recently in a similar discussion at https://h5p.org/comment/25028#comment-25028
The "Randomize the position of the draggable elements" feature is part of my experimental features. You may test it in the Plant families H5P activity here: http://www.rezeau.org/drupal/node/10

That's the fix I was looking for
Thanks, papi Jo for your reply. The example you posted worked perfect and that is what I wanted to do. Now, how do I get it to work on my Wordpress site? I do not speak developer lingo, :-( Do I have to replace any of the H5P files on my site?

Hi Papi Jo,
I read in one of your post that you are moving to Drupal 8. Do you have any plans to migrate these experimental features as well? I am asking since the link above is giving a "page not found" error.

Change of URL
I have moved my H5P experiments to a Drupal 8 site. The home address has not changed, it still is http://www.rezeau.org/drupal/
For specific H5P activities, just follow the MENU links. The Plant families activity has moved to a different URL, but you can still find it in the MENU.
