Import/export single questions in/from question set

ferpect's picture

Hi all,

is there a possibility to export/download single questions from question sets?

As far as I found out, I can only download whole question sets.

And the other way round, is there a possibilty to import single H5P question into question sets?

Both possibilties would make (my) life easier. So I hope I overlooked the mentioned functions and any of you guys could give me the needed hint.

thanks *n

Hi ferpect,

Yes this is possible. There are 2 copy paste options in Question Set. First is the copy/paste for the whole content which is situated just below the content type picker (screenshot 1), while the other one is on the right side of the question type picker (screenshot 2). The 2nd option is also the one you will use if you are pasting a stand alone question.

Please note that only question types that are available in Question Set can be pasted into it.

Hi BV52,

thanks for quick response.

I actually overlooked the function you described.

If I understand it correctly (I am not a programmer), the copied questions get stored in a "virtual" clipboard. That means I have to export and import questions one after another.

Is it possible to save the questions first locally on my computer, in a kind of library or collection of questions, from where I then import them into a new Question set?

Hi ferpect,

The copy/paste feature uses the browser cache as its clipboard. Having said this saving it somewhere in your computer is not possible.
