Hi, looks like a fantastic product - just wondering when the Joomla3 release will be and whether it will be have the same functionality as your 'Test Drive' example ie the ability for a user to register, select content type, create and then copy the embed code? Will it be possible to hide the 'download' option?
thanks in advance,
Mike

Thanks Mike!
We're aiming for a release 31.12.14. Joomla will provide the user registration and stuff, but H5P will have embed code and the option to disable the download feature.

Fantastic news
That is great - a couple of other questions....
1) I work in eLearning for a University, if we wanted some enhancements or a specific library developed, would you be available for contractual work?
2) This is a dumb question (I expect) - if a lecturer downloads an h5p package from Joomla and uploads it to the file area of our LMS (and the core library is also installed somewhere on the LMS or other site, can the lecturer then create an embed tag in the LMS html editor to link to the local file? If so, could you give me an example of this i.e if the core library were in http://mysite.com/libraries/ and the packaged file was called 3456.hp5 and was uploaded to http://mysite.com/my-course/my-files/ what would be the embed code and which is the core library file that should be pointed to (I could not find the same js file in my core Hp5 library in Joomla that you point to (h5p-embed.js)). Should the H5P package be unpacked when uploaded? - sorry for my ignorant questions
cheers

Hi chaand!
I'm not sure what happened during the last 4 years, but to the best of my knowledge, the core team doesn't have any specific plans to create a plugin for Joomla right now. Sorry for not being able to provide you with a more pleasing answer.
However, there have been a couple of plugins that have been developed by others, e.g. for ILIAS or for Neos. Maybe the Joomly community can pull of something similar, too!?
Best,
Oliver

Thanks!
1. Yes, I work for Joubel, you'll find contact info at the bottom of our web-site
2. The .h5p files are to be uploaded to an H5P enabled web site. You can't embed them any other way. To embed an H5P you need to get an embed code from an H5P enabled web-site and that web site will be hosting the H5P you're embedding in a different web-site.
Does this answer your questions?

One question leads to another.....
Thanks, yes that does. Following on, I note that when the embed tag is used..... i.e the teacher creates an interaction and then uses the embed tag to put it into an LMS via an html editor that the student sees an exact replica of what the teacher sees - i.e they also have access to the download and the embed tag as well as the link back to H5P. Is it going to be possible for the teacher only to have access to these links and for the student to only see the actual interaction and the copyright popup?
cheers

The embed, download and H5P
The embed, download and H5P buttons are there by intention, but it will soon be possible to remove them :)

Hi,
I've tried H5P on my WordPress and it works perfectly, it's awesome. Is it possible to disable the embed and download buttons? If it is, where is it explained?
Thanks and congrats for your work!

Hi,
Hi,
Thank you for the feedback. You may do that on the right hand side under the save button when you create the H5P.

Another thought...
We use the Desire2Learn (Brightspace) LMS which has LTI and API integration. Would it be feasible to build an H5P framework that could integrate?
cheers
