Grading an Interactive Video

I am new to Moodle and H5P. I created an interactive video and embedded it to Moodle, but I am not sure how to grade it. Is it only graded by completing the video (veiwing video to the end), or can it be graded by answering the interactive questions as well?

Also, is other interactive content able to be graded as well?

Hi Suzanne,

Welcome to H5P!

H5P emits data in the form of xAPI statements, Moodle receives some of these data and shows them in the Gradebook.

As for the Interactive Video it will only send these statements once the video has been completed. It will include all the graded activities embeded within it. Furthermore there is an update due for release in the coming weeks that will enable the user to send the results of the embeded activities everytime they finish it.

All quiz type contents are graded, I don't have an exact list but Quiz (Question Set), Fill in the Blanks, Multiple Choice and Drag N' Drop are a few examples.

I have a similar question (allso new to H5P and Moodle)..

I have created an interactive video in Moodle, with 7 embedded multiple choice questions.
I think I have set up te gradebook correctly.
But now I encounter the following queston: How can I show the final score at the end of the video?

Hi anneke,

The IV doesn't have an actually summary of scores but afaik the students can check their score by clicking the grades option (usually at the left side).

Hi. I'm trying to use an embedded H5P drag and drop question in a quiz. I've created the drag and drop activity and embedded it into an essay type question in a quiz. However, it seems like after answering, the activity does not provide a grade for that essay question. Am I doing something wrong?

Salut. J'essaie d'utiliser une question de glisser-déposer H5P intégrée dans une pour mes élèves du primaires et je ne l ai pas cet utile pourriez vous me prêter cet utiles même pour une seule journée et merci beaucoup  monsieur

Hi Youssef,

I'm afraid this is not possible. The setting is universal for the site. To provide a best possible experience for new users and to ensure that people use H5P.org only for trying out H5P (we've had more traffic than our server can handle lately, ref also the warnings when you create content, embed content and view the content) we are experimenting with which content types should be available here. We might have a different set of content types next week.

Check the getting started page for information on how you can use all the content types and use H5P for real. We unfortunately are not able to provide free hosting, only free software :) Hopefully you'll consider supporting the H5P Core Team by using H5P.com.
