Moving my H5P across different platforms

Hi,

I want to create an online course but I am undecided about where to host it. One thing I am sure of is that I want to use h5p. Is it possible to get started with the activities and I create them on a WordPress site, but then move them all to Moodle is I want to host the course there?

I assume I would need to download the .h5p files and upload them on Moodle, will something be lost in that process? As there is no reporting on WP I think it shouldn't be a problem, but just wanted to confirm if this is possible or if there's a better way of going about it.

Thanks in advance.

Hi alegoffa,

You are correct the contents are designed that you can move them between platforms without any problems. The scores are saved in the platform so these will not be carried over even if you are moving the contents from one Moodle server to another. In terms of scoring in Wordpress this can be generated. H5P emits data in the form of xAPI statements and you will need a plugin or custom code to listen to these statements and a data store such as a learning record store to save them in.

I highly recommend looking through these documentation:
