Is Image Hotspots still offered?

Hello,

I am designing and developing a course for students to use Image Hotspots. Though prior students have used it, (the latest I know of is June 2020), I do not see it any longer in the new content options. Has it been removed?

These are the pages I am trying to access it from – yes, I logged in.

These are the two links used from the prior course:

https://h5p.org/

Test site-

https://h5p.org/node/add/h5p-content

https://trainme.erau.edu/acadtech/Integration-Instructions/h5p/instructi...

I am hoping for an answer as soon as possible.

feel free to email me: [email protected]

Thank you,

Janet Bennett

Hi Janet,

To provide a best possible experience for new users and to ensure that people use H5P.org only for trying out H5P (we've had more traffic than our server can handle lately, ref also the warnings when you create content, embed content and view the content) we are experimenting with which content types should be available here.

Check the getting started page for information on how you can use all the content types and use H5P for real. We unfortunately are not able to provide free hosting, only free software :) Hopefully you'll consider supporting the H5P Core Team by using H5P.com.

Helo BV52,

I hope you are having a great day!

At Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University - Worldwide we do have a license to use the .com platform. We have some courses students will temporarily use the existing tools on the H5P.org website

Is this OK?

We analyzed both platforms two years ago and determined that .org was OK for students to use, as the website states it is free. Will the Course Presentation tool in the content menu be deleted from and moving to the .com-side anytime soon?

Thanks-Janet

Hi Janet,

In regards to the access please contact H5P.com support directly.

I'm not sure what you meant with the Course Presentation question. However to explain the availability of content types, H5P.org have limited contents as I mentioned above. For H5P.com you can use most content types except for the once listed in this documentation.
