undo for Active Surface Mode

It's really great that now you can hide navigation bar in Course Presentation by activating the "Active Surface Mode". However you can not undo this later. A popup says "This can not be undone" but it might be useful to somehow go back if your plans for the presentation change later.

Another great feature would be to reveal the navigation bar when the user reaches summary page (or last page) of the presentation.

Undoing it involves quite a lot of development work and the customer who financed the development didn't want to pay for all that work. Also it might be that we add features in the future that makes it even more difficult to go back. Making the navigation bar pop up is a good idea, but it is a bit difficult since the Course Presentation's canvas becomes taller when the navigation bar is removed, but perhaps it should be possible to bring in a different navigation bar/menu...

Ok, I understand. It's not possible to just add a css switch to hide the navigation bar?

Yes, that is possible. We want it to use the freed up screen real estate for a bigger canvas so I don't think the official version will add support for just hiding the navigation bar, but it is certainly something that should be possible to add in via a custom module.
