Problems with H5P in Moodle using iPhone or iPad
Hello everyone, maybe someone can help me.
I have created H5P activities (it is Course presentation with multiple choiche quizzes) for my courses in Moodle (version 3.7+ / H5P plugin 2021061100 - 1.22.3).
The H5P activities are contained in a label activity for a continuity of visualization within the course. (This makes it easier for the user to scroll through the activities in the course without having to enter and exit individual activities.)
From a computer everything works fine.
However, when users view the course from their iPhone or iPad this type of activity does not work (you cannot advance in the test and complete it. You cannot be scrolled horizontally, vertically, and not even zoomed in or out.)
Can someone help me?
Thank you very much.
David

I'm not the best person to answer, but when you choose "add activity or resource." Shouldn't you choose "H5P" instead of "label"? Also, I believe that way the score can go in your gradebook. You mention you choose 'label' for continuity of visualization, but what happens if you choose 'h5p' instead?

Hello, Thanks for the reply
Hello, Thanks for the reply.
Indeed your question is logical, but the situation is more complex :-)
We have used a theme and minimized all the parts that the user can click for navigation. This is because the course we are talking about is also open to users outside our organization, and not used to browsing the Moodle platform. We have therefore made sure that the user enters the course and only sees the navigation buttons / links to go to the previous or next section. These links are located above and below the H5P activity contained in the Moodle label (the results of the quizzes are also sent to the Moodle register). In this way the user can carry out their course well and easily navigate from one section to another ... Of course I'm talking about browsing on a computer ...
On mobile devices, everything gets complicated ... On a small smart phone I can obviously think that the display of the course on the web may be small.
I wasn't expecting a display issue on a larger device like a tablet though. Moreover, at the moment, the feedback comes to me only from iOS users. I am looking for android users who can give me feedback.
If I let the user open the actual H5P activity (not inside a label) the activity seems to work, but then the navigation between the sections of the course is no longer possible or becomes very difficult and annoying, because you have to open and close the activity and then go from section to section and, with a reduced interface it is not a good experience, besides that there are many sections and activities.
Now I have also replicated the course so that I can test it both with other methods and with other themes to look for solutions and ways that are convenient for me.
I hope I explained myself. Thanks for your help.
