Fill in the blanks showing a correct answer as incorrect

Hello,

In one of my Fill in the blanks content type, I have Italian articles with apostrophe which introduced correctly show up as incorrect (and then the correct answer showing is the same as the one introduced by the user); I don't remember having the same issue in other exercises.

One line of example from this exercise is:

Sono *un’*insegnante d’italiano. Lavoro online. Ho *un* blog che si chiama Włoskielove, scrivo ebook, organizzo webinar e creo corsi d’italiano come questo  qui. A parte *l’*italiano parlo anche *l’*inglese, *il* francese, *il* turco e un po' di spagnolo.

I bolded the problematic pieces. I tried to separate them from next words (*un'* insegnante) but the result is the same.

Can I do something about it?

You are not the first person to experience problems with apostrophes... You must be aware that there are various types of apostrophes, which look almost the same but are treated as different characters by software. See this Wikipedia article.

In your example you have use the so-called Punctuation apostrophe or typographic right single quote. This apostrophe is not usually readily available on a computer keyboard. How did you type your example text? Did you type it in a word processor and then copy-pasted it into your FITB H5P exercise?

Anyway, if you replace your example text with this one your students will be able to complete the blanks by typing the so-called Typewriter apostrophe or neutral single quote on their keyboard!

Thank you so much, now I understand! Probably I copied it from Word :)
