Hi - I'd like to set up the flash cards where if a students misspells a word they can still get the answer correct. How do I set up multiple possible answers? For example;
Question: What is a round red fruit?
multiple possible answers: apple, aple, appel
How can I set it up where if the student answers one of the ways it was spelled it still ends up being correct?
I have a lot of medical terms that are hard to spell and I don't want the students to feel discouraged just because of a misspellling. Thank you!

Hi!The code required for this
Hi!
The code required for this feature has already been contributed last year (https://github.com/h5p/h5p-flashcards/pull/43), but the H5P core team will need to find time to review and release it if they want to support that feature.
Best,
Oliver

Multiple answers on h5p flashcards
Still looking for a way to allow multiple answers for variety of spelling on flashcards. Not sure why this isn't among the built in settings by now. Any suggestions?

Status of H5P release for allowing multiple answers on flashcard
Still looking for a way to allow for multiple answers to allow for varied spelling on flashcard answers. Not sure why this wouldn't be an option built into the tool. Any updates or suggestions?

Hi!Didn't you get the memo?
Hi!
Didn't you get the memo? Alternative solutions have been added in one of the latest versions of Flashcard.

alternative solutions
I am researching the flashcard activity and I thought your comment referred to a recent update adding an option similar to Fill in The Blank that accepts minor spelling errors. But I think you are referring to the alternative solution option where you enter multiple correct answers separated by a |. This option does not work great for us. If we entered several options for spelling mistakes as alternative solutions, then all of these solutions would show to the student as the correct answer. This is very confusing. We are looking for an option similar to fill in the blank where it accepts some spelling mistakes. I understand the alternative solution can work in some cases where the answer could be one or two words, but it doesn't work for spelling mistakes since we only want to show the student the correct spelling of the word as the correct answer.
I know this takes resources to implement and I appreciate what the community has done thus far, just want to put it out there that we think that option would be useful for flashcard activity.

I see. It was not clear to me
I see. It was not clear to me from your original post that you were looking for an option to forgive minor spelling mistakes. That is in fact not an option in FlashCards, currently.
It's not complicated to add, but given that plenty of other pull requests are already piling up without any feedback by the H5P core team if and when those might be tackled, I am a little hesitant to create yet another one without getting a commitment that the feature is actually wanted by the H5P core team.

Multiple choices in flashcards
I discoverd how to add multiple choices in flashcards. For example:
I am teaching how to translate words from Spanish to English. I add an image of a Notebook (in Spanish "Computadora Portátil") and the possible answers are:
Notebook | laptop
So, we have to write the first option, then a space, then |, then other space, and finilly the second option.
It works with three or four options.
I hope this post help to anyone who wants to add two options or more for a one flashcard.
