How to use advanced HTML in H5P Content?

Is it possible to use advanced HTML in H5P Content (I am new to H5P but can code HTML and CSS)?
For example I copy pasted a table into the "Fill in the Blanks" field.
To my surprise in the editor the tabel was preserved. So I was under the assumption that I can insert complex elements like tables.
However, once I preview or publish it, the table is gone and everything is displayed in one single row.
How can I make use of advance HTML elements or maybe eben show the code and adapt that?
Cheers and thanks in advance.

Hi twisme!
You can't use arbitrary HTML code, but only tags that the content type/the core of H5P allow. I assume that the H5P core team did this in order to reduce conplexity.
The table structure being pasteable in the editor ia rather a bug - possibly in the CKEditor library or in the core of H5P. Tags that are not allowed will be filtered out when saving.
Best,
