Bugs in content types

Hello,

I have this fatal error when I try to work at my wordpress website:

PHP Fatal error: Uncaught ValueError: Unknown format specifier " " in /srv/htdocs/wp-content/plugins/h5p/admin/class-h5p-privacy-policy.php:74

At this moment I canot work, the support from wordpress said that they said they can uninstall your plugin, but if they do, I lose the entire online academy because I use your plugin.

can you help?

Hi Helena,

In order to give your bug report the best chance of getting answered, please include the following information:

  1. Detailed steps to reproduce the bug (exactly how and when did it happen)
  2. Platform and version number. E.g. Drupal, Wordpress, Moodle.
  3. Mobile or Desktop
  4. Browser: Chrome, Firefox, Safari etc
  5. H5P plugin version
  6. H5P content type and version (if a content type was used), and a sample URL or attached H5P.
  7. Any browser console errors
  8. Any PHP errors
  9. Screenshots if it's a visual problem

If it worked before:

  1. Any recent changes to the environment (new plugins/modules, updates, configuration changes etc.)
  2. Any recent changes to the browser you're using (new extensions, updates etc.)

The more information you provide, the quicker the community will be able to fix it and the quicker you'll have a working solution!

It happens when I use the WordPress admin, I can't open content from the plugins, pages, h5p menu, I can't do anything. Wordpress support said it was your plugin that was causing this problem and gave me the link to contact you. need help.

It seems that the Brazilian Portuguese translation file is lacking the translation for the privacy policy texts, in particular https://github.com/h5p/h5p-wordpress-plugin/blob/8a81beb2e65be9f4a32f89f8f7f49ffcd8aee7fe/languages/h5p-pt_BR.po#L512

That causes the issue. A quick workaround should be to change the language setting of WordPress to e.g. English or Portuguese

This is something that H5P Group or a contributor should fix. Translations should not contain empty fields, but the English text if a translation is not available yet.

It was in Portuguese from Portugal, now I changed it to English and it is working without error. Thank you very much for your help.

You're welcome. Hope H5P Group is going to fix the language file soon nevertheless.
