Copying the activity content

Why is it that when I try to copy an existing activity and then attempt to paste and replace it in a new activity, the 'paste & replace' option doesn't work?

Hi,

There are several reasons that I can think of that may cause this issue:

  1. Using a different browser between the copied content and where you are pasting it. 
  2. Copy/pasting using different platforms, eg. copying a content that is in H5P.com and pasting it in Moodle that uses the H5P plugin.
  3. Copy/pasting a content that cannot be created within the content you pasting it into, eg. copying a Branching Scenario and pasting it inside Course Presentation
  4. The receiving content supports a lower version of the content.
