Interactive Book optional Restart

First, I would like to give a BIG THANK YOU for adding the course presentation inside, now I have the power to be really creative with content making by mixing sound & graphic inside the IB.

Because IB has the button to submit the score, I prefer it over the Course presentation where it just auto-submit scores when come to the last reporting page.  The LMS I am using has its own option of the restart a quiz type based on the score, let's say if a user has a score of below 50, The LMS can be based on the score to offer the user to retake the quiz again.
Interactive Book right now also has the restart quiz/interaction button on by default, this would come in conflict with LMS. Because the user can just re-do the quiz if they don't like the score, defeating the IB's quiz taking/reporting purpose.

I think it makes great sense to make [Restart] optional, where you can change the behavior from the options panel. This will give us the power to use it with an LMS setting.

Hope we can get an update from the author soon.

Thanks

Hi Felix,

Thank you for contributing your ideas on how to make H5P better! With the H5P supporter program the H5P community can now vote for and fund the top voted H5P features. Also there are developers in the community who every now and then work on a feature they find interesting or useful.

Note: I moved the post to the Feature Request forum since this is not a bug.

Any updates on this?  Would love to be able to disable the Restart on the Summary & Sumbit page for Interactive Book.

Hi amylea,

As far as I know no one has picked up this project and I don't think our devs have plans in the near future to for this feature.

Would the H5P Group developers be willing to accept a pull request for this one? It's only a tiny change to semantics.json and the language files and a simple if-clause in JavaScript.

As long as no content upgrade is needed - please go ahead, Oliver. I'll make sure it is merged in. You know how to reach me ;)

No problem at all!
