interactive videos are not longer available?

Hi mariaarli,

To provide a best possible experience for new users and to ensure that people use H5P.org only for trying out H5P (we've had more traffic than our server can handle lately, ref also the warnings when you create content, embed content and view the content) we are experimenting with which content types should be available here.

 

Check the getting started page for information on how you can use all the content types and use H5P for real. We unfortunately are not able to provide free hosting, only free software :) Hopefully you'll consider supporting the H5P Core Team by using H5P.com.

Hi, thanks for the answer.

I am a little bit lost (I am new here). I created my free account and I made an interactive video, it was very usful for my objective, but now, the option is no longer available. What do you mean with free hosting, only free software... can I do it with my free account?

Hi mariaarli,

Hosting means a hosting provider allocates space on a web server for a website to store its files, they are hosting a website. Web hosting makes the files that comprise a website (code, images, H5P contents etc.) available for viewing online. H5P.org does not provide free hosting the site is for testing purposes only. If you want to gain access to all the content types either you sign up for a subscription in H5P.com or install the free software and host your own contents.

Hello BV52 and mariaarli,

I have a question and I'm sure you can help me . I've been member since December of the last year. I don´t know how to get a susbcription with my account in order to use interactive videos. Honestly, I'm not interested on having the free 30 days trail, I just want to get suscribed and to use H5P as I did it before. Do I need to get a new account? I supposed you were in the same situation. What did you do?

Hi AI,

Everyone that uses the H5P.org gets the same number of contents that they can create. Please note that the site is for testing purposes and should never be used to host 'real' content.
