Image Juxtaposition - Vertical slider not working

Hi,

While creating a Image JP, I was trying the "Slider orientation" to "Vertical" and it is weird.

Initial position is ok. But the slider doesn't work. When I try to move it up or down, no response. If I click on the image, it just jumps to the first image or somewhere and the 2nd image is gone.

Anyone facing this? Is this a know bug and any resolution to this? Any workaround? Like limiting the size or resolution or something??

Regards,

Rahul

Hi Rahul!

I just checked the demo content here on H5P.org, and that seems to work perfectly. Could you please follow the bug report guidelines listed at https://h5p.org/forum/9 (they are not listed just for entertainment ;-)) and provide more information, especially the browser/operating system used and potential error messages in the browser's developer console?

Best,

Oliver

Hi Rahul,

Just to add to this, it is beneficial for all parties concerned to include as much information as you can. In most cases an issue can be isolated to specific platforms used (even specific to a version), browser and version, and in some cases it is even specific to a content and cannot be reproduced if created from scratch.

Hi,

sorry for the quick bug report.

Here are the details with some screenshots.

We are using Drupal CMS along with Opigno LMS.

For interactive contents, we are using H5P activities and for a business case, we also have Image JuxP as one of the use case for the learning modules.

So, we were just playing around and it is working fine with the horizontal slider. But it behaves in a weird way when we chose the activity in a "Vertical" slider in the H5P settings.

I tested it in chrome browser. Screenshots attacheded. The slider doesn't respond to drag. Also on touch devices. When clicked on the image on top, the slider jumps to bottom and half of the 2nd image is not shown properly. When again clicked in the white space, the slider jumped a bit up.

So, in a nutshell, the slider wasn't working in vertical mode as in horitzontal mode (selection available in h5p settings).

Thanks in advance. Let me know if I should add more details. I am not a developer and hence didn't add any technical information.

Regards,

Rahul

Hi Rahul,

Thank you for the additional information. Can you check my test content. I can't seem to reproduce the issue you mentioned. If you see the same issue with my content can you try a different browser/computer. If it works properly I suggest that you attach a screenshot of the the browser console (ctrl+shift+J).

Hi Rahul!

Have you made sure that you're running the latest version of ImageJuxtaposition (which one are you running?) and that you have updated all existing content to use that?

Best,
Oliver
