lower case in Flashcards

Hi H5P Community,

In Flashcards, it always seems to "correct" the first letter of the question to uppercase in front end, even though you may have written it all in lower case in editing. In a language exercise, for instance, it's often important for the questions to also be case sensitive. Is there any way to do that? Other than inserting a random punctuaion mark to occupy the first space.

It's possible to make the user input case sensitive by ticking a box, but i do not see anything similar with for the editor.

Thank you!

Best, Sara

Hi Sara,

I'm afraid there is really no viable workaround for this. I have reported this to the developers in the H5P core team however there are no timelines when this will be fixed.

I came here to make a similar request to Sara, so I'd like to second her request. In language teaching, it's not always appropriate to begin with a capital letter, and we like to use all lower case unless a capital letter is required for some specific reason.

If I was braver in programming, I'd have a look at the project GitHub and see if I could offer a solution myself! Maybe one day! :)
