is it possible to replace the black H5P icon visible in the courses with various thematic icons, e.g. Course Presentation, Flashcards, etc ...?

Since you are using H5P in Moodle I suggest you re-post your question on the relevant Moodle forum here: https://moodle.org/mod/forum/view.php?id=8603

I also suggest you use the "core" H5P activities located in each Moodle course Content bank.
