background course presentation

Hi everybody,
I want to upload an image that is in 2:1 format as a background in a Course Presentation. Unfortunately it warps this. Others that are in 2:1 format, it does not warp - What can be the reason? I have already tried png and jpg, unfortunately that didn't help either. Anybody have any ideas?
