Course presentation - Keywords Navigation question

I've created a 40-slide presentation with 4 sections of 10 slides each, so I have created 4 keywords for slides 1, 11, 21 and 31 which appear on the left navigation pane.  It works fine except, for one thing.

Let's say slide 11 is has 'Section 2' as its keyword. User navigates forward to slide 12, 13 or 14 (none of which have keywords).  The user will expect that clicking on 'Section 2' in the navigation pane will return them back to slide 11 (the start of the section) but it doesn't - in fact it doesn't do anything.  Clicking on any of the other 'keyword' titles in the navigation pane brings the user to specific slide that has that keyword (which is the first slide of that 'section).... except for the section you're in... where it doesn't do anything and you stay where you are.  Is this how it is supposed to work, or is there a way of addressing it?

Also - slide numbers are appearing in the (keywords) menu pane (I believe this is new functionality).  Can they be suppressed?

Hi goty2001,

I am unable to reproduce the issue you described. Do you have a sample content that I can use to check?

I built a quick course presentation here (on this site) called 'navigation question'.  Hopefully you know how to access it. If you go into that, and choose e.g. '6'  from the menu on the left, then use the navigation at bottom to go forward two slides to slide 8 ... then choose 6 from the leftt menu ... nothing happens, you stay on slide 8.

Also - see the slide numbers appearing in the menu on left - is that built in?

Hi goty2001,

Thank you for the sample content. I have created a bug report and you can follow it here.

As for the Slide Number it is built-in and currently there is no way to remove it unless tou make changes to the code.

In my opinion the display of the slide number is unnecessary and in fact does not look as good as the previous version where it wasn't displayed.  Is there any plan to revert to the old way?  Should I put in a request?

I don't think there are any plans of removing them. I suggest that you post a request in the Feature Request forum.
