interactive video not recognizing mp4 format anymore

Hello, starting today early morning, none of the mp4 files that were previously used on my course are usable anymore by the interactive video content. I attach the screenshot of what I get for _any_ video I try to play....  Technical staff in my department suggest it might be a remote problem as nothing has apparently changed locally. I can still download the same mp4 files from moodle repository and play them as ordinary mp4 on my laptop.

This is really critical as students are approching the firts exam and they cannot accest to the content anymore.

Any suggestions? or help?

Many thanks to all

Adriano
