Hide/display menu in documentation tool

It isn't always desirable to display the menu on the left side of the documentation tool. This could easily be desided by the users with a checkbox "Hide menu" (default unticked)

I agree. Hopefully we'll see a contribution from the community if this is a desired feature :)
