fraction display - maths

Forums:
using h5p with wordpress. want to write fractions. using
\(frac{1}{4}\)
it publishes the same thing
if i write
\frac{\frac{1}{x}+\frac{1}{y}}{y-z}
it publishes the same thing.
have downloaded h5p maths display 1.0.5
what i am dong wrong? pleaese suggest

fraction expression issues
now if I use \(\frac{3}{4}\)..it works. but when I adde the activity to learn press page it breaks down again..see the attachments..
