Strange Behavior when Fullscreening Video from Course Presentation

Update: So I found out that you can fullscreen a video on chrome as long as the course presentation is not currently fullscreened. If it is currently fullscreened, the option goes away. On Firefox, the option to fullscreen stays in both scenarios, and the fullscreening of the video behaves appropriately. Hopefully that's an easy fix on the Chrome side?

Hi all,

I'm looking to create an interactive slideshow using course presentations, and one feature that is giving me a ton of trouble is the ability to fullscreen included media. As far as I can tell, you can't fullscreen images that are included, which is crazy to me, but when working with video, it seems like the fullscreen option is only there for videos I upload myself, not ones that I embed, and only on Firefox, not on Chrome.

First image is Firefox, second is Chrome. I am talking about the video in the upper right, as there doesn't seem to be a fullscreen option for youtube videos? Maybe because it's asking for just the link instead of the embed code?

This is really a shame, because the course presentation module is so close to being super useful for creating real media enabled presentations.  If I'm missing something fundamental, please let me know!

Hi bshenkman,

Would you mind providing the version Chrome and Firefox. I can  see what you mentioned but in Firefox I don't see the fullscreen button both in the fullscreen of course presentation and even if it is not in fullscreen.

Hi BV,

Thank you for the response. I'm on what appears to be version 65.0, on a Mac. I'm going to update to the latest version (72.0.2) and see how it behaves.

So I updated to the latest version of Firefox. I am seeing the fullscreen option on the video in edit mode on h5p.org, but not in view mode on h5p.org.

I am using this module embedded into Kannu (an LMS), and within Kannu I can see the fullscreen option when the module is normal sized, and when it is fullscreened, just like with the previous Firefox version.
