Installation and server related problems

I keep getting the error message "Your PHP version does not support ZipArchive" when I try to upload the H5P files to WordPress.  I do not have access to my server to change the ability to accept zipped files. Is there a work-around?

I have been trying out H5P in my wp installation which is hosted by one.com. H5P content was not appearing in wp pages or in preview. In answer to my query with one.com engineeres I was told that the .htaccess is preventing js execution. As a 'fix' they have remover the /js parameter but they say this is a security risk and that content should not be cached in the uploads folder which is just for static content.

They asked me if I could change this but, of course, I cannot.

Has anybody any comments about this?

For our Moodle site, we do not allow the web server to write into the document root (moodle/html) directory. All plugin installations or upgrades are done by copying the plugin files into the appropriate directory in the document root at the file system level based on well-known Moodle install procedures.
