Drupal: video format not supported

Hi,

The mp4 file I used for testing worked fine one your test site but we keep getting this message on our Drupal site:

please see if you can show mw how to fix it.

Thanks,

Your image didn't work. It is probably something wrong with your setup. I commended on this in your other post.

Hi

I also have this issue.  I can upload mp4 video with no problems and it plays. I can upload video to the interactive video H5P content type and add interactions, save it and view it. However after the server has rebooted if I try to view the content the instructions pane appears momentarily and then the error message is displayed.

Are you using a windows development environment? Does this happen on a windows server?

Hi

Yes it is a windows machine. I a running the Opigno Drupal distro on XAMPP.

Ok, we fixed a windows bug in the 7.x-1.1 module that deleted the files you've uploaded after some time... Due to windows using \ instead of / in filepaths windows systems where unable to set the file status to 1, making them always temporary....

Hi

Thanks for the reply.

The files indeed had been deleted from the video assets folders. I have tried to edit the h5p and re-uploaded the video and all seems fine and it has not lost any of the annotations which is a great relief.

I have updated from H5P version 1.3 to 1.4 and upgraded all of the modules. Will this make this issue go away or do I have to do something else?

Hi! Video files stored with your new version will be kept. If they were stored with the previous version you may go in and edit those nodes and save them again.

Hi

That is a relief, I have got big plans for the interactive video module. The next challenge is to find a way to embed H5P content in a lesson or slide on Opigno but that is a separate issue.

Thanks again for your help.

We're working with the Opigno team to include H5P in the next version of Opigno. Hopefully that will happen soon.

Really looking forward to that integration, they will be a very powerful combination. I have found some lateral ways to include H5P on Opigno and it works very well so far as I have tested it.

BTW the original issue is definitely resolved now, thanks.
