Using the Anchor element to customise navigation in Course Presentation

Forums:
I'm creating some [Prev] [Resources] [Activity] [Next] type navigation using anchors. When I add an anchor in course presentation, giving it a title (e.g. like "Slide 20" or "Next"), should that title then appear as a label for the anchor? For me it doesn't. I'm working around by adding a text box over the anchor, and then bringing the anchor to the front. This seems to work but is it necessary or am I missing something simple.
Thanks for any advice before I start doing the for all slides.... (using Moodle plugin)

Anchors in CP
Hi goty2001,
The title for the anchors in Course Presentations where not meant to be labels of it. It was designed to be a reference to the creator of the content. But I think with how you describe it there is a need for it to have a "label" that the users will see. I suggest that you head over to the "Feature Request" and post this use case. Maybe someone from the community can create it for us.

Anchors in BV52
<<update -since tying below, I have noticed other posts about the pop-up window bug - so I guess my question should be altered to... Is there any clever alternative even using image files to show text, that could deliver a similar pop-up result?>>
Thanks BV52 - actually - having used anchors a bit more and gotten to know them better, they work quite well and their transparency makes them very flexible. I do have a slightly reblated question however - concerning the pop-up window option for the link feature, which is not working for me ... instead it behaves just like a new window, and my settings are even reverted to 'new window' when I go back in after saving and viewing.
essentially, in text boxes within course presentation, I'm looking to create the ability for users to click on words to reveal more info which will appear in a small pop-up window .. i.e not having the whole page given over to a linked pdf, or anchored page. Can I achieve this? (using HP5 on Moodle 3.3)
thanks

Hi goty2001,It's good to hear
Hi goty2001,
It's good to hear that you are finding the anchor useful.
For your question:
Yes this is a bug and I've filed the report for it. I would have to admit that you got me thinking and experimented with it. But sad to say I wasn't able to find anything that can accomplish this. If someone else in the community has found a way to do this feel free to share it with us :-)
