drag the words

I have my drag the words hosted on moodle. The problem comes when you have to scroll up the web page. It is impossible to drag the word and scroll up the web page. You can reduce the zoom and this solves the problem but on moodle mobile it just doesn't scroll at all.

Hello BV52, the issue mentioned by reesygeoggers is not the same as you suggested.

The problem we have is that on mobile phones the words are not being dragged up the page (the page is not scrolling together with the draggable word.) Here's an example https://h5p.org/node/78635 (same is in moodle).

The only browser that doesn't have this issue is  Safari Version 9.1.2 (11601.7.7) (tested only on MacOS 10.11.6) I rarely use Safari and most of our team are using Chrome or Firefox. Also we cannot force our students to use safari browser just for this task.

1. You can reproduce the issue on mobile phone or on computer (if you reduce the window size). In mobile view the "words" are located all the way under the text. If you pick one of the words and try to drag it all the way to the top of the page - the page won't scroll up.

2. Using h5p in web browser and moodle (don't know the moodle version, need to ask our developer)

3. Mobile and desktop (small screen, in which the words are pushed under the text)

4.

   * Desktop (tested on Chrome, Firefox, Opera, (but no issue in Safari on MacOS 10))

   * Mobile iOS7  Safari iOS7, Chrome v 47.0.2526.107, Opera v 14.0.0.104835

5. h5p website

6. drag the words

If needed - I can make a video.

Thanks for your help in advance.

Hi BV

I've just started using H5P for my elearning course and needless to say I'm absolutely loving it so far.

However, I've just encountered this problem myself on my mobile device - the draggables at the bottom of the screen simply will not drag/scroll upwards - rendering the activity virtually useless on mobile devices. This seems to be a well documented issue spanning a number of years. Do you know if there has been a fix at all?

Many thanks!

Hi mcaptref!

Please see my answer at https://h5p.org/comment/37700#comment-37700. Not sure why you posted the same question in three different locations.

Best,
Oliver
