Problems with Mark the words

Bugs in content types

We are having problems with the content type Mark the words, especially when it comes to how many points the students are getting for solving the assignments. The problems are

  1. it counts the points wrong
  2. we are unable to click the words in the assignment
  3. we click the words, the answers are correct, but the points are not counted

Below is a screendump. In this assignment we have answered 20/21 correctly, but are getting the score 19/21 Anyone knows what we are doing wrong?

Hi Ramusk,

I am unable to reproduce the problem that you described above. In order give your bug report the best chance of getting answered, please include the following information:

  1. Steps to recreate the bug
  2. Platform you're using: Drupal, Wordpress, Moodle (version number would be helpful as well)
  3. Mobile or Desktop
  4. Browser: Chrome, Firefox, Safari etc
  5. H5P plugin version
  6. H5P content type version
  7. Screenshots if it's a visual problem
  8. Please provide the H5P so that we can check it.

The more information you provide, the quicker the community will be able to fix it and the quicker you'll have a working solution!

Hi

We are using Moodle 3.2. desktop, Chrome, don't know the version of h5p, mark the words.

I have attached a screenshot. In this assignment we have 18/19 corarect, but only get 16 points. Should we not get 18?

Hi RasmusK,

Thank you for the samples and URL. I tried going through the test myself and you are correct there is an issue with the scoring. Instead of getting a 17 out of 19 (18 correct and -1 for the mistake), I'm also getting 16 out of 19. I copied the activity and uploaded it here but I can't seem to reproduce the scoring issue. Would it be possible to download the activity that you created and attach it here so that we can have a better look at it.

Hi again and once again thank you for your reply. 

How do you download an h5p activity from Moodle? I have tried making a backup, but it saves it as am mbz. file, and I am unable to upload it here.

Hi RasmusK,

You have to edit the content and enable the download button. Once saved you will see a download button at buttom of the content. This will save an H5P file.

Hi RasmusK,

Thank you for the information and the H5P file. This seems to be an old bug that has already been resolved. I have uploaded your file and got the desired results (1 point for correct and -1 for incorrect answers), you can check it here. 

The H5P that is installed in Moodle needs to be updated to resolve this issue.
