H5P and Google

Hi All,

I LOVE H5P.....and have been using it in my Moodle. My school has just said ....I am not allowed to use my Moodle. We are a Google School.... Is there any way to collect H5P Quiz data using any Google Tools.....HELP PLEASE...Google Forms?.....Google Classroom? I have no idea. OMG !

Hi Dday, no there isn't a way to collect H5P usage data straight from H5P.org but a beta version of H5P.com will be launching soon that will allow you to collect H5P Quiz data without hosting it yourself!

If H5P . com happens it will be a game change for me.....and the College. My school users http://seqta.com.au/ and I could embed H5P content directly into my courses and hopefuly SEQTA could collect student data , which is very important for me. I have signed up for H5P.com Beta , so heres hoping. Any time line ?

H5P.com is currently in closed beta, with more and more organizations from the list you've signed up to being invited to start using the beta. H5P.com should definitely be open for all organizations during the summer, but probably not for individuals and smaller teams until the autumn.

The service afaik will already have integrations for LMS's. Through LTI you can track results directly in your learning management systems.

Yes ...but

But I wanne left moodle, cause we are developing our custom solution, that is not really an lms.

Also moodle in some cases like course presentation does not show partial results for each question, just totals.

I have considered to create a solution based on xapi, but we have to resolve some technical things before

We don't want to use an LRS, since we wanna have the complete control of the results, but for that we need to consume the resuts of xapi and stored it in our DB. Hard work ? I 'll investigare further. Also we are using h5p in moodle as a Iframe so get the xapi events from there is difficult.

Do you if there is a base example of an api that consume direct the h5p xapi and stored it in a custom DB ?
