Show solution and retry doesn't work in single choise set

Hi all

I've a problem with the single choise set in a course presentation.

If I use the button "show solution" then I get the first question and not the solution.

If I use the button "retry" than I get the solution.

Just the opposite.

We use Worpress and H5P.  I've rebuild the cache and update the libaries.

Course presentation: 1.17.7

Single choise set: 1.9.8

Can you help me with this issue?

Thanks,

Katrien

Hi katrien,

I am unable to reproduce the issue on my end. Is your WP and H5P on a language other than English?

-BV52

Hi

we use a Dutch version of Wordpress and H5P.

I can’t upload the h5p file because it’s 23 MB.

Hi Katrien,

Do you happen to have a screenshot? I apologize I'm not sure but I think in Wordpress it is labeled as Nederlands right? If so there are 3 choices for this and I'd like to know which one you are using so that I can try to reproduce the issue on my end.

Hi

In attachment you can find 3 screenshots.

Hi Katrien,

I am still unable to reproduce this issue. I've tried using all 3 of the Dutch settings in WP unless I am missing something.

Hi,

Can I send you the H5P file by wetransfer?

Hi Karien,

You can send the file to [email protected]. Also can you please tell me which specific language settings I need to choose in WP to reproduce the issue. I am suspecting that this is translation issue and adjusting it should not take too much time.

-BV52

Hi

I send the file to you with wetransfer.

Katrien

Hi,

Do you have any news about this?

Hi katrien,

Sorry for the delayed response. I am still looking to what is causing this for you. As an update uploading your file shows the error my side but when I create a new content the labels are correct. I've also looked into the language file and all is in order. Refreshing the library should resolve the issue but it's not working on my side so there looks like something else is causing this. I'll continue investigating this and will update you once we have a resolution.

Hi,

There is still no solution to the above problem. But I suspect it's in the library. I can not update the library now, but it remains at 97% for 33 course presentations. It now takes about an hour without progress. I'm trying to update from 1.17.10 to 1.19.1

How can I update the library?  Can you help me with this?

Hi Katrien,

Can you try downloading a sample content in H5P.org and uploading it to WP, this usually does the trick. After doing so make sure that you update the content cache by going to H5P Content -> Libraries.

-BV52

I've download and upload the course presentation.

But if I want to update the course presentation than the problem is still there.  (see attachment)

Hi,

I suspect you have an error message in your browser's JavaScript console. If you don't know how to open it, you could e.g. look here. If you see any messages in the console, please add them as a reply to this thread :)

Hi

We have the same problem by updating:

  • drag and drop 1.11.8
  • Interactive Video 1.17.5
  • Question Set 1.13.4

Hi,

I was last week at a conference but I tryed now the course presentation.  I've updated first H5P and rebuild the caches.
This wasn' t the solution.   In attachment you can find the errors in the javaScript console.

Hi Katrien!

You're trying to display content using a non-secure protocol (here http) in a site that uses a secure protocol (https). That's why your browser rightfully blocks the content (cmp. https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/Security/Mixed_content). Since the server seems to support TLS, you should make sure that in the general settings tab of WordPress the URL uses the https, or H5P and other plugins may receive the wrong base path for storing/loading content locally. If you ever want to use media by providing a link, e. g. a video that's hosted somewhere, you should also remember to use https. The http is a dying species.

Best,

Oliver

Hi

Just 1 error left.

What is admin-...e_progress related to? I don't think it's part of H5P.

Hi

This is a H5P link.

In attachement the full link.

I see. Sorry. Could you possibly provide us with the file?

Which file should be delivered?
