Drag and drop mixed up answers

Creating content in Moodle 3.1 plugin.

Desktop, Chrome, not sure how to check H5P plugin version, H5P Columns - drag and drop.

This seems to happen just about every time: When creating a drag and drop, I set the correct answers, then save and display and test the exercise and the correct answers are no longer the correct answers! It seems to mix up the assigned answers randomly, there is no pattern or logic to it that I can see. If I return to editing and re-input the correct answers and save, then it works. Only seems to mix them up first time, then remembers after assigned a second time weird.

I haven't documented this as it's not really a visual issue, but let me know if there is anything I can provide to help.

Hi loccoli,

I can't seem to reproduce the issue that you mentioned above. Would it be possible to provide the h5p where the issue is present?

Hi BV52,

It has happened at least once in each of the 4 modules I've created so far, generally multiple times while creating. But as I said, it happens once, then when I fix it, it stays fixed. I will upload one of these modules to H5P and share with you, but at this stage I have corrected all the errors. I am working on more modules so next time it happens I will immediately download that version and send to you as well, and if I can some screen shots of my input of answers before and after the error occurs.

Just to clarify: click correct answers for each drop zone --> save and display --> test exercise, answers wrong --> return to editing, some different boxes are ticked/unticked ---> I click correct answers again --> save and problem is fixed.

Hi loccoli,

Thank you for the update. We will wait for the samples, this is definitely an unusual case and those will help a lot.

I am having this exact same issue only I go back to edit and fix it multiple times and it doesn't resolve the problem.

Hi joellelynch,

Would you mind providing the following:

  1. Detailed steps to reproduce the bug (exactly how and when did it happen)
  2. Platform and version number. E.g. Drupal, Wordpress, Moodle.
  3. Mobile or Desktop
  4. Browser: Chrome, Firefox, Safari etc
  5. H5P plugin version
  6. H5P content type and version (if a content type was used), and a sample URL or attached H5P.
  7. Any browser console errors
  8. Any PHP errors
  9. Screenshots if it's a visual problem

The more information you provide, the quicker the community will be able to fix it and the quicker you'll have a working solution!
