multiple draggables for 1 drag zone

BV52's picture

I created a drag/drop in which one drag zone had multiple draggables. When I completed the activity, even though all answers were correct, it didnt give me full credit for completing the activity. Showed 0 out of 1 or 10 out of 12 even though ALL drag zones were correct. Is there a possible solution to this or an enhancement request on file?

I noticed that in your activity you have several text "draggables" that are inactive, which are used as labels or questions. There is a possibility that 2 of these were initially active draggables that has been deactivated. This is related to this bug report. For now until the bug has been fixed the only way to resolve this is remove the text one by one and add them again or redo the whole project keeping in mind not to "recycle" objects in this activity type.

Thanks for your response. I recreated the Drag and Drop, but its still showing the same results. Only one option has multiple choices and the rest have 1. The only thing I didnt delete when adding everything back into the Drap and Drop was the titles and left text in each box, but deleted and added the drag zones and draggables. I've created other Drag and Drops similar to this one and have had no issues with text not being a draggable. Do you think that it could be that there are 11 draggables and only 10 drop zones?

Hi JLB,

Would you mind attaching the H5P in this thread? I'd like to run some test but I would need to have access to the settings as well.

Hi BV52...

Thanks for looking into this. I really appreciate it.

Hi JLB,

Sorry for the delay. Scoring issues in DND are one of the most time consuming thing to isolate. I'll post an update here once I find something.

Hi JLB,

Thank you for your patience. I filed a bug report and you can follow the progress here. The issue as it seems is very specific, if you have multiple possible answers in a drop zone but with only one draggable that you drop in it and at least one draggable is set to "infinite" another point is added to the maximum score. This of course can cause an issue with the scoring since the multiple drop zone should be an "or" type of question but it is being assigned as an "and" type question. This in turn will cause an activity that a student cannot get the maximum possible score.

I have I think a similar problem. I have a drag-and-drop that involves selecting either a "Yes" or a "No" draggable to nine drop zones. Selecting the correct choice for all 9 zones gives you 9 points, however, the max points for the activity is 18. So it is impossible to get a perfect score. Your bug repair description (https://h5ptechnology.atlassian.net/browse/HFP-2444) says that this is caused by the draggables being set to infinite. I'm not seeing in the UI how to adjust that.

Hi tommodl,

The "infinite" option is found in the draggable settings (screenshot attached). If you have this on for your draggables the bug mentioned above is the one causing the issue. If not I suggest that you upload your content here so that we can check.
