Timeline - Add Image Only Media Asset

Hello,

I enjoy using the Timeline feature in H5P, but often feel that the thumbnail image is too small, and often would like to include a larger image as the Media Asset. Currently, the Media Asset can only be Twitter, YouTube, Flickr, Vimeo, Wikipedia, Google Maps, and SoundCloud.

So, there are two parts to what I would like:

  1. Increase (or allow the option to increase) the size of the thumbnails to about 75-100 pixels high.
  2. Allow the option to upload a static image as the Media Asset. This way if the image itself illustrates the event, that could be used.

I included an image showing different size thumbnails. I think somewhere between 75 and 100 pixels height improves the clarity of the image.

Supporter votes Members of the Supporter Network can vote for feature requests. When the supporter network has generated sufficient funding for the top voted feature request it will normally be implemented and released. More about the H5P Supporter Network

Hi James,

Thanks a lot for contributing your ideas on how to make H5P better! We’re now working on something called the H5P supporter program allowing the H5P community to vote for and fund the top voted H5P features. Also there are developers in the community who every now and then works on a feature they find interesting or useful.
