Hi all,

Please could you tell me where to find pricing details of H5P as a service?

Thanks

Hi BV,

Sorry for the delay in responding. I've only just seen your reply. I've signedup for the free trial but no where on the h5p as a service website does it tell me what the eventual cost is going to be

Hi Fred,

The page has been updated recently. You can go directly to H5P.com and sign up for the free trial there. You should see a quote on sign up page.

Hello! I am a big fan of H5P. I use it in my courses and support my institution's faculty with the use of H5P.   I am also a doctoral student  currently doing a research on Online Communities. Would a manager of this community be willing to answer some questions for my project?

Thank you!!! Dan

Hi Dan,

This is a very active community and if you have any questions feel free to post in the forums.

Just curious..why h5p.com is not created with Drupal, but h5p.org is?

Is Drupal dissapearing or why did you chose Joomla instead of Drupal?

I think no matter what I say here I risk getting some framework fans on my back, so I'll just say that we don't have any plans to stop developing our Drupal modules :)

Hi BV, thanks for pointing me in the right direction. Bit of feedback though, I missed it completely and I'm sure I'm not the only one to experience this. There aren't any currency symbols in the wording of the banner, which doesn't help. The price should be signposted elsewhere on the website after logging in but I can't see any evidence of that. If you look at any other 'as a service' provider, they are very clear at showing their pricing plans. I can't see any links after logging in to point to how to upgrade, or how to enter my preferred payment information.

The site mentoins an organisation plan, but doesn't show the different levels of what this entails or how the pricing works, the only indication is '5-15 USD for organisations'.

I still love H5P as a product, but the business model on the hosting side needs some more work.

Thanks,

Thanks for the feedback. We hope to add the payment system in a couple of weeks. When it is launched the pricing will be clear. We don't add pricing here in the forum since if they change it can lead to confusion but there will be more price details publicly available soon in addition to inside the trial.

Is there now a statement on costing available?

Hi Teresa,

Prices vary depending on subscription type and user allocations, you can see the pricing once you sign up for the free trial. Since pricing may change to avoid confusion we do not put it in the forums.

Hi,

Thanks for your reply and the direct email with the costing breakdown. It hadn't occurred to me that the site was only in beta or soft launch so thanks for clarifying. From my own limited testing, the embedding works beautifully on a test website that I have access to. I have yet to try getting it to sync up with an LMS but for the purposes of what I'm using it for, the embedding is fine.

Thanks again.

Fred
