Problems with read-speaker

Hello forum-members,

we have a problem with all types of quizzes and read-speaker-programs. The read-speaker doesn't read out the individual feedback for every answer possibility. So someone who needs the program to use H5P only hears how many answers were correct but the displayed feedback is ignored in all cases. Did we make a mistake?

Hi Sabrina,

Would you mind checking this sample content I tested it using ChromeVox. If it works for you as well I suggest that you provide the information below:

  1. Detailed steps to reproduce the bug (exactly how and when did it happen)
  2. Platform and version number. E.g. Drupal, Wordpress, Moodle.
  3. Mobile or Desktop
  4. Browser: Chrome, Firefox, Safari etc
  5. H5P plugin version
  6. H5P content type and version (if a content type was used), and a sample URL.

I tried ChromeVox and NVDA with your sample content and it didn't work/ same problem as on our Wordpress-page. The speaker says: "feedback available" but doesn't read it. We use Wordpress in version 5.3.2 and the Question-Set of H5P in version 1.16.5. We used our page on Desktop with Chrome and MicrosoftEdge.

Hi Sabrina,

Would you mind providing a sample content so that we can cross-check. SInce the sample content I provided you is working on my side I would also suggest that you disable other add-ons on your browser. The other thing that you can do is check your browser console (strl+shift+J or F12) for any errors.

For some reason this is not working on my end anymore including my sample content. Anyway I created a bug report so that the core team can have a closer look.
