I only have 13 content tools on my account

Hi. 

 

I'd like to create a course content or image hot spots but they are not available when I want to create content. How should I do then?

I just wanted to post a new topic in the forum with the same question. I have a free account for just over a year and until recently all of the existing content types were available when creating new content.

Back in about a week when I select Create Nev Content only 13 content types are available! I wonder if this is a new restriction on a free account or is it a matter of editing these content types and therefore there aren't available? If this is a restriction, I think it would be nice if a notice was posted on the web page or something like that ...

Hi Everyone,

To provide a best possible experience for new users and to ensure that people use H5P.org only for trying out H5P (we've had more traffic than our server can handle lately, ref also the warnings when you create content, embed content and view the content) we are experimenting with which content types should be available here.

Check the getting started page for information on how you can use all the content types and use H5P for real. We unfortunately are not able to provide free hosting, only free software :) Hopefully you'll consider supporting the H5P Core Team by using H5P.com.

Hi susnavas,

If it runs in Wordpress, Drupal or Moodle you can just download the free plugin and host everything there. In terms of contributing maybe you it's best look for a feature that you need and support a crowd funding drive to have the feature created. With this it's a win win situation you get a feature that you need and you help the core team ;-)

Thanks for your reply. I don't really understand how I can help. I'd like to try the content of Presentation with hotspots as the other resources available and I'd like to contribute for sure. I have a squarespace website. Can I use it there? sorry Im not a tech person :((

Hi susnavas,

What you can do is host your contents using Wordpress, Drupal or Moodle and then embed the contents in squarespace.

There are plugins that are shown in H5P.org that I want to use in H5P.com, but I can't find them there. (Agamotto, Image Juxtaposition, Image Pairing, Speak the Words, and many more). How can I find/use these tools in H5P.com?

You can enable most of the contents by going to Manage Organization -> Settings -> Content Type Settings. Please note that there are some contents that are not installed in H5P.com, you can read more about this here.
