Hello

I am very new to H5P. I have designed a couple of drag and drops and fill in the blanks activities to use in my subject through Blackboard Ultra. I am wondering about whether I can get any data on student engagement with the activities. I tried to read the article about learning analytics and I set up an account on watershed, but I have no idea what I am doing and how I link things and get the data. Are you able to provide more details?

Hi Vicki,

If you are embedding the contents in Blackboard Ultra you cannot retrieve analytics. Blackboard Ultra has an LTI integration with H5P.com which provides scores and analytics.

How does the LTI integration work and where are the scores and analytics found? Do the h5p items need to be embedded in ultra or can I link to them and have a new window open ( the embedding in ultra doesn't look very good)

Hi Vicki,

Grades are sent to the gradebook. The LTI integration uses LTI 1.1 and you need to set it up using the steps in this documentation.

It is appearing in the tools section of Ultra, that is where I am accessing it and creating my activities. However, it does not seem to be recording any grades in the gradebook.

Hi Vicki,

Does this happen to all activities? Have tried testing using a student account if it will generate scores? If it doesn't check if you are seeing scores if you login directly to H5P.com.
