Fill in the Blanks in the Table

Hi H5P people,

I would like to request the following feature. The ability to create a table with fill-ins. I have many instructors who teach with spreadsheets and to be able to test your students using fill-ins would be invaluable to them. The amount of time that it would save them grading would be enormous.

I have experimented with the h5p fill-ins and the only way I could get around it was to provide a PDF with the table and ask the students to download and print the table, input the answers in the fill-ins. Obviously, it would be soooooo much better to have it all in one place.

Thanks!

I agree that many types of exercises are in column or table format. So we sould be able to put them in columns or tables probabley with alignment features (left, right, middle inside the columns or cells). As it is now, we have to use spaces to push empty fill-in place holders and as the user types the fill-in placeholders which are close are being moved to the right. Its ugly and time consuming.  A table (or even column) feature would be helpful alot. Please someone add this feature.

This would be a really helpful feature, I'm having to guess and spacebar tab the alignment of multiple column layouts at the moment and just having a table format for users to imput their answers etc would look neater and more professional for what I'm trying to create. Please add this feature.

Strongly agree and vote for this fuction

Hello,

Yes, PLEASE add this. It would make it so much easier to create neat, professional, spreadsheet-type exercises.

Hello,

I have a problem displaying the answer for an H5P "fill the blank" exercise My 2 proposed responses are included as one.

Even though, I have set up like this ( I tried to play with the space and coma without any success)

Hi Marie!

Unfortunately, Fill in the Blanks is supposed to be used for single words, not for phrases. You would have to put all words in between asterisks. Something like

*Même* *si* *j’argüe*, *je* *ne* *serai* *pas* *écouté/écoutée*.

would work, although this is probably not what you intended.

Best,
Oliver
