Summary Assignment Grade

I set up a summary assignment in one of my modules.  Students have completed it, but there is no grade reported in othe Moodle grade book.  Is this form of feedback not graded?

Hi gtroberson,

By design it sends grades to the Gradebook. If all students are encountering this problem I suggest that you attach the content here so that we can check.

No grades are reporting from this exercise for any of my students.  This is an interactive video in mp4 file format configured for H5P with the H5P tool in Moodle.  I do not see a way to share this file with you in the formats you indicate in your file upload options.

Hi gtroberson,

When using Interactive Video and there are no other activities use "Statements" is a port of the standalone Summary instead of the Summary tab. The summary tab does not trigger the submit screen unlike other activities which is why there are no grades sent. You can delete the summary by clicking "x" on the right side of "Set of Statements".

Tip: When posting please indicate as much information as you can so that it will be faster for the community to provide suggestions/tips/resolution.

Hello- In the above reply, you say- "You can delete the summary by clicking "x" on the right side of "Set of Statements".

I tried doing this but the Summary is still on the video. I would appreciate any assistance with removing the Summary.

thank you,

Hi EMA,

If you were able to delete it and save it but the summary is still there I suggest that you attach your content here so that we can check or delete it for you.

HI BV,

I am trying to understand the statement, "When using Interactive Video and there are no other activities use "Statements" is a port of the standalone Summary instead of the Summary tab"

Did you mean :When using Interactive Video and there are no other activities use "Statements" *as a part* of the standalone Summary instead of the Summary tab. ?

thanks,

Elizabeth

Hi Elizabeth,

What I meant with "is a port" is that it uses the libraries of the standalone Summary content type.

I was just trying to point out that there are 2 Sumarries in Interactive Video. The first one is the "Statements" that can be added similarly as other activities in Interactive Book and the other is the one in the Summary Tab.
