No formatting options in the Drag the Words

Greetings to the H5P core team,

I wish to politely put forward a feature request for introducing text formatting options within the Drag the Words activity. Currently, there are none whatsoever while every other content type has at least bold and italics.

Please allow me to explain how this affects my colleagues and, more importantly, our learners. Firstly, as you can see from the first and second screenshots of a Mark the Words activity, we are able to use italics to match the example sentences within the H5P activity to that of the example sentence created in the block editor at the top. Using italics (as well as bold (and underline in certain other content types) allows us to provide consistency across our courses and highlight certain linguistic features such as verbs/nouns/adjectives, as well as quotes or examples of useful language. It also helps us to seamlessly embed H5P material as if it was created in the block editor. I'm sure you can imagine how beneficial this is to learners. By suddenly not having these formatting options, we are unable to consistently highlight key features of language and our learners may not notice certain aspects that are important, and their learning may suffer as a result.

They also might notice the inconsistencies themselves and question the credibility or validity of the course content, which is a natural concern to any content creator. The following screenshots demonstrate this, in that the text in the Drag the Words activity is all in plain text and the only way to highlight or emphasise certain features is to simply use 'quotation' marks instead of using of bold and italics in the block editor paragraph above it. This creates obvious inconsistency.

Also, when creating written dialogues with Drag the Words, especially long ones, it becomes very difficult to clearly and adequately differentiate between Speaker A / Speaker B / Speaker C, etc, as everything is in plain text, and nothing is able to be highlighted or emphasised. The result of which is just a long block of very ugly and overwhelming black text. Being able to display it like below would be far more beneficial to the learner in terms of readability and emphasising certain linguistic features, as well as significantly improving the overall look of the activity.

Speaker A: How's it going?

Speaker B: Great, thanks. How about you?

Speaker A: All good, how was your weekend?

Speaker B: It was pretty wild!

I'm sure you and many other H5P content creators can think of other examples of how not having Drag the Words formatting options can affect their activities and, crucially, the user experience. Given that every other content type has at least a couple of formatting options, and that Drag the Words is probably one of your most popular content types, I therefore propose this feature request.

Many thanks for your time, and I hope all the above is clear!

Best regards,

Paul
