Interactive Video for Software Training

I have setup H5P in Wordpress and my first attempt was to create an interactive video, where the video would be on software training taking them through the process of using the software to complete specific objectives following narrated guidance (for example "click on the menu icon", "select the object").  I have managed to do this using the navigation hotspot and in the whole it works really well.

  1. I pause the video at the point I want them to select an item
  2. Select the Navigation Hotspot
  3. I set the display times to the same by copying the left most time to the right box
  4. Check to pause
  5. Set the destination to Time Code
  6. Set destination timecode to 100th of a second beyond the Display time
  7. Unchecked everything else
  8. Clicked Done
  9. Moved and resized the shape over the specified area

Tested, apart from a few tweaks to times here and there, it worked a treat.

I then wanted to allow the viewer to click on the item from the moment it is mentioned to the point that it is paused, thinking that this was possible in step 3 (above), thus allowing the user to jump quickly rather than waiting for the video to pause, I set the left most display time to a few seconds before I wanted the video to pause.  Unfortunetly, it paused at the first time stamp not the second, is there something I am doing wrong, or is this a limitation and I need to create a feature request?

Hi CptKirky,

The timestamp uses the left one to pause the video. The right timestamp is not used if you set the activity to pause the video. The timestamps on the right is only used if the activity is not set to pause the video and mainly used as the end of showing the activity.
