Hi reutty95,

The test drive feature on H5P.org is intended for users who are trying out H5P for the first time. We are experimenting with limiting the number of content types available to make the test drive experience less overwhelming for new users. To access all H5P content types and use H5P for real see the getting started page.

Esta mañana podía acceder a todos los tipos de creaciones y ahora muchos han desaparecido. He probado a crear una nueva cuenta y tengo el mismo problema. ¿Podrían, por favor, habilitarme los contenidos en la cuenta cuyo usuario es Yeyo y en esta que acabo de crear?

This morning I had access to all types of content and in the afternoon, it is not possible to access. The possibility of creating a lot of content has disappeared. I have created a new account and the same thing happens. Can you please enable the missing content for the account whose username is Yeyo?

Hi MIP,

I'm afraid only the core team can enable them and as far as I know there are no plans to do this in the near future. However you can still use the other content types by either installing the plugin in Moodle, Drupal or Wordpress or sign up for a subscription for H5P.com. YOu can follow the steps provided in this page.

Does it mean we have to start paying if we want to continue using H5P as we were using it until yesterday?

The plugin is free and forever will be free and open software. You can install it in Moodle, Drupal or Wordpress, you can check the getting started page for information.

To provide a best possible experience for new users and to ensure that people use H5P.org only for trying out H5P (we've had more traffic than our server can handle lately, ref also the warnings when you create content, embed content and view the content) we are experimenting with which content types should be available here. We might have a different set of content types next week.

 

Check the getting started page for information on how you can use all the content types and use H5P for real. We unfortunately are not able to provide free hosting, only free software :) Hopefully you'll consider supporting the H5P Core Team by using H5P.com.

Hi,Oh Ok. I am an ed-tech person who consults educators on integrating technology, especially FOSS, thereby H5P and its integration with MOODLE. I was to present my research in the H5P conference in May2020No wonder I am getting queries whether H5P is paid!

Hi Ajita,

You can say there are 3 types of H5Ps that the core team manages.

  1. H5P.org - test site where new users get to experience how to use H5P but not to be used to host 'real' contents.
  2. Free plugin - you can install this in Moodle, Drupal or Wordpress and you host your own contents.
  3. H5P.com - this is the paid hosting which also provides LTI functionality

Hi Ajita, was just researching on this myself...  This seems to be the commercial section of h5p that obviously comes with a 30 day free trial. It is likely to cause some issues afterwards if you don't pay. (Prices: https://documentation.h5p.com/content/1290796486149145438). But correct me if I'm wrong please....
