Hello,
I would like to see the subscript and superscript options available in the standard text content type. It would make math, physics and chemistry content much nicer to write and read about. I see these options in other text entry fields such as the options for multiple choice questions.

Hello,
Thanks for replying. I read the LateX link and comments and pasted this into the text field of an interactive book:
\( f(x) = \frac{A_0}{2} + \sum \limits_{n=1}^{\infty} A_n \cos \left( \frac{2 n \pi x}{\nu} - \alpha_n \right) \)
It just shows up like that, no formatting occurs. Do I need to enable something? I am using an h5p.com account.
Thank you

Hi Erik!
LaTeX will not get automatically rendered in the editor, but you should see the formula rendered nicely after saving the content.
Best,

Hello,
That is what i mean, When I save the content it still shows the same as when the text editor is open. It does not render to a formula.
I am confident that I am missing something, but I do not know what.

Hi ErikS,
I used the exact same code you provided and it is showing correctly: https://bv-demo.h5p.com/content/1291475737497208049.
Would you mind sharing the link you your content? This should work in H5P.com but if it is not working for you we might need to get someone from the H5P.com dev team to check.

ok, I tried the $$ approach and that did not work either, then I pasted the /( line from above and it renders. Both are at the link in my previous post.

Hi Erik!
Hmm, this works fine for me on h5p.com, and I don't think the MathDisplay library is something that needs to be activated first. Guess someone from the H5P team might need to take a look then.
Best,
Oliver
