No xAPI Data Interactive Book "Summary"

Forums:
Hello everyone,
I use the Interactive Book to create e-learning content. I have activated the summary button. However, nothing is tracked / displayed in the xAPI data when a user clicks on the summary. Any ideas on how I can get xAPI data on this action (ideally a Completed message)?
Some more information:
- Using Wordpress (Version 5.8.2)
- Desktop
- Firefox
- H5P PlugIn Version: Version 1.15.3
Thank you so much for your help!

Hi lsuesslin!
If I am not mistaken, then Interactive Book requires the user to click on the "Submit report" button on the summary page in order to trigger the xAPI completed event.
Cheers,
Oliver

No xAPI statement generated by "Summary & submit"
There is no "submit report" button on the summary page, but there is a "summary & submit" button at the bottom of the navigation menu. Clicking it and going to the summary page, however, does not seem to generate any xAPI statements that would indicate the user has completed the book. This is obviously problematic for those who want to track the completion of the book in an LRS or LMS.

HI spazfox,I think it is best
HI spazfox,
I think it is best that you share your content. There is should be a "Submit Report" button in the summary page unless this is an unknown bug which we may only be able to see if we have a sample content that is exhibiting it.

Sample interactive book with no "submit report" button
I don't use interactive book for any real content yet because it does not save the user's progress and because it is not generating a final xAPI statement for me, but here is a quick sample I whipped up where you can see that there is no "submit report" button: https://ericfox.com/interactive-book-sample/

Hi spazfox,
I see the issue on your site but after exporting your content the submit button is showing in H5P.com. https://bv-demo.h5p.com/content/1291504387580944339. I'm not sure what is causing this but I'll get back to you once I have investigated this further.

Now it's there...
Hmm...out of curiosity, I tried uploading the sample book about berries from H5P.org. After doing that, the submit report button started showing up at the end of my sample book. Perhaps the berries book has an updated library or something that resolved the problem? If so, I'm not sure why that update was not available to my site previously -- I double-checked for library updates before posting my sample earlier. Very strange.

Hi spazfox,
I was suspecting the same but did not have time to check yesterday. It is good to know that you are seeing the submit button.

Requires "Enable LRS dependent content types" to be enabled
Actually, after further testing, I discovered that the "submit report" button only appears if I have checked "Enable LRS dependent content types" in the general H5P settings. This is not at all clear from either the general settings UI or the interactive book editing UI. It is also rather strange behavior, as one does not need an LRS to benefit from the xAPI statements generated by the "submit report" button (an LMS can sometimes use such statements, as well, for example).
